Title: New to DE CCW and firearm community

Hello from lower slower - Sussex,

     I am new to both this site as well as the firearm community as a whole.  Years back I was qual'd on the M16 (former air force); pistols are fairly new to me.  For the last 2 years I have become more confident in handling them.  I took my time before going for the CCW -- applied 5 June and playing the waiting game.  Once done with DE have MD, DC, PA and NJ in my sites.  I now a few of those "places" are going to be fun but sadly I have good reason so we shall see.... I am if anything persistent.

Forget MD and NJ. You'd be wasting your time. PA is worthwhile and DC is still up in the air but any valid state permit is supposed to be honored for the time being.

Welcome board and as Everyone else said forget about DC, MD, NJ & NY
PA and Utah would be my second & 3rd choice...

Welcome to this group. Like the above members have mentioned forget NJ,MD and DC. PA no problem with a DE CCW Permit. Go to Lancaster Co. Sheriff's Dept. and you should have no problem there. Again, welcome and all the best to you.
