Hi All: 

Very pleased to say I just got my permit last week, exactly two months after application.  I'm thrilled it was turned around so quickly in New Castle County. 

I guess next stop Lancaster.   :D

Great news! Hope my application takes 60 days. You carry yet? I'd go shopping or something. Enjoy your ability to protect you and yours. It's a dangerous world out there all a sudden. My nephew was harassed at Wawa recently and that convinced him to apply. All the people begging for money on corners and at Wawa make me uneasy as well. Stay safe and aware of your surroundings.

Thanks!  Yes, I have carried a couple times since I got it last week.  I had a permit a long time ago in VA so it's nice to get used to doing so again.  Good luck with your permit and hope it is a smooth process as well.

Congrats, @trustbutverify.  Carry safe and always. AP is reporting that two deputies were killed today in Abingdon, MD.

And a cop in Upper Darby, PA, was saved by a permit holder.
