Title: My Districts on Election Day - Unopposed Dems
Post by: ThePixelated on November 10, 2016, 03:25:24 PM
Both Valerie Longhurst (D) and Nicole Poore (D) ran unopposed. SMH...

Kind of makes me want to run against them.

My rep also ran unopposed.  Earl Jaques is a National Guard Brigadier General who is opposed to most gun rights.
Senate District 10 will be filled in a special election because Bethany Hall-Long is the Lt Gov-elect.  Maybe another Republican freshmen to join with Anthony DelCollo?

I feel sorry for you. Where I live in Sussex Co. my State Rep. is a Repub. with an A+ NRA rating and that also goes for my State Senator. I have been trying to move out of DE  AKA/Liberal Land but I will not give up.

In Delaware it doesn't matter in statewide offices, because New Castle County has always outnumbered Kent and Sussex in the number of votes. New Castle County has always had more people that Kent and Sussex combined. So they will always control elections. Delaware is a Monacracy. They only Republican Governor I remember is Dupont, and after all, he was a Dupont.
