Like Dad used to say...Life is unfair!

The unfair part, is the parents.
The home owner, was a better parent , and raise his son to be that.
The robbers, had substandard parents. that did not arm them with knowledge , and failed their kids. The parents are the failure in this.

Wow. Reminds me of the two who were shot and killed robbing a corner store a few years ago in Reading, PA
A bunch of friends of the punks held a vigil and protest. The mother of one complained that her son was "getting his life back together" and that only robbed the store to get money to pay his child support.

This is why we have a Saiga 12, M1A, and AR-10: Commies like us don't believe in fighting fair!

The boy could of used a 10/22, the unfair part is they broke into a house TWICE.

As concerns the victims, I'd venture a guess that their upbringing is a big part of why they are where they are. It's not the home invasion victim's fault that the invaders brought knives and knuckles to a gun fight. One thing that I find particularly odd is that the getaway driver was charged with felony murder. I'm not about to go out of plan and search out Oklahoma's murder statute, but I know here in Delaware for the felony murder theory to apply under § 636 as interpreted requires that the death be to a non-participant in the underlying predicate offense.
