Yes. And they un-invited USCCA to the NRA convention!

But it's still primarily an insurance policy; meaning you have to advance most of the legal fees and you get reimbursed if acquitted.

That changed at least a couple years ago with USCCA. Now no legal fees are required up front.

I believe since NRA has gotten into the insurance business, they didn't want the competition.

USCCA played it smart and said they were disappointed, but they still support the NRA.
