I have a question: Do any of you carry a small pocket type gun? 25, 32, 380 auto or NAA mini revolver. I find large guns very uncomfortable to carry plus in Delaware if you are forced to use your gun it would have to be up close and very personal because of your obligation to retreat.

My wife just started carrying a ruger LCP 380 with a crimson trace. She also has an M&P shield in 9 mm but the 380 is more comfortable for her to carry and fits in the hand better. A 380 on you is better then 9 or 45 at home in the safe.
I carry an m&p compact in 9mm. In all fairness it took me a while to get used to it as it is my first carry pistol. I now feel comfortable carrying the m&p full size as well. IMHO it is a matter of finding out what fits in the hand and what you can deploy effectively in order to stop a threat.
If you can, try different pistols before you buy.

Could be the holster. Or where you have the holster placed on your body.
Carried Para LDA 45 with 15rds of 230gn for long time. Now carry
FNX45 with 16 rds.

Occasionally carry a Sig P238 in a Sticky holster in front pocket of dress pants with no issue. Usually a Stealthgear IWB with something larger than the Sig works all day for me.
-
I carry a Ruger LCP custom in a Uncle Mikes pocket holster in the summer (Thanks again Chris!).

Go big or go home... I carry either the Sig MK25 (P226) or my Glock 19 on most days.

I own a tiny 22lr naa revolver. Id never want to have to trust my life to it but its a fun range toy. If your hands larger thans a cat's paw its not a very comfortable weapon to hold

I keep a mini me in my pocket..

hello... i have a " pee-wee " size Browning .25 semi-automatic pocket pistol which i bought in california way back in 1967. not a highly rated caliber for stopping power.
the first test is the choose between it and my .38 snub nose when i have my first doctor visit since getting my license... as the proverb goes, " better to have a .22 in my pocket than my .45 left at home."

I carry a Remington RM380 in my front pocket as backup to the Springfield XD-S I carry on my belt. There are times when I can't carry the XD-S so the RM380 then becomes my primary carry. I'm left handed and I wear jeans most of the time. The small watch pocket on the right pocket is perfect for the RM380 spare mag.

In the heat of summer I carry a Ruger LC380 in an alien gear holster with no issues, very easy to conceal, but in the winter when I have bulkier clothes on it's glock 21 all the way. :)

I've carried both the Beretta Pico in .380, as well as the Ruger LC9s in 9mm. The Pico is most definitely in the pocket-size class (wallet holster, rear pocket) and the LC9s isn't much larger (Alien Gear IWB).

No. I carry a small 9mm pistol in a holster but no pocket pistol. I have a comfortable holster and have no problem carrying at 4 o'clock. I don't have a problem with a pocket pistol and strategically it makes sense, I just prefer to carry a holstered pistol. I carry too much junk in my pockets and don't have room for a pistol.
I bet Chris has 4 or 5 pistols on him! :D Holster, pocket(s), right leg, left.....

Thanks for all the replies!
I do carry a mini. A Black Widow IWB holster with 5 Hornady or Gold Dots CD ammo and replacement grips....

I like it Nastruck. Cool little piece, and I like it in stainless. I'd be hesitant carrying these types of pistols that have no trigger guard however. Cheers!!

Lumspond, it is a five shot single action only. They truly are amazing little guns!!!!
