Received a retirement gift from the people I work with. Can't wait to get to the range.

No. They paid for it but I had to go to the FFL myself to pick it up and go through the background check.

I have seen a number of articles comparing the Colt 1911 and the sig P220.  Authors seem to be split about 50-50.  Both very NICE guns.  Sig does make nice pistols!!

Yes, I agree. This is my first Sig and I am very pleased with it. Taken it to the range a couple of times now and finally recieved my holster from Safariland. This will be my new EDC replacing my Ruger SR40c.
