Don't know about metal detectors but check it outhttps://www.santander-arena.com/faqs  Regards to all at GT  I did some further checks and it appears that there are metal detectors in both of the Santander facilities in Reading.

Thanks for the info good sir.  Looks like at least carrying into the center is no go.  Not real happy about it honestly but what can you do?  We are going up to see Mercy Me and Jermy Camp in concert.  Not to comfortable locking the gun up in the car either.  What would you guys do?

I've never been to the place.  I would call and see if there is a sub station/court IN the facility like Well Fargo.
Flyers game you can request an escort (IF they detect it) to security and they have lockers.  In PA court facilities
are required by law to provide secure storage.

This is a law wish Delaware would adopt.

The metal detectors don't detect guns?  Also my friend has a few metal parts that it didn't detect either.  So What is the point in having them in there.  As we were walking to the theater some guy comes up he set off the alarm asked if we wanted some candy I said Candy what kind he holds out his hand I was like no thank she was very insistent.  I simply advised him it would be ill for him to continue this conversation as he kept getting closer to me as he held out his hand.  This is common snatch and grab technique used.  I had herd about this from a Self defense seminar I went too.  He took another step towards my wife I turned my right hip toward him lifted the shirt told him to take off.   Pointed him out to the police they had him in handcuffs in 10 minutes.  Cop came over to me while I was waiting to get into the arena said that they had been looking for him.

Funny though all the people around and this guy was acting like this and not one person noticed what was happening around them.  When I was having my interaction with him.  People walking around with their faces stuck in their phones at night oblivious to the world around them.

Security is only as good as the people working it.  Know of an incident at Wells Fargo where someone walked up to the hand scanner.  Put hands out like a cross as they scanned up front and down back.  They MISSED the 45, knife, and wad of keys.  Told to enjoy the event.  Dont think replacemnet body parts will set it off.  My hips dont.

This is why I carry a FULL size gun and dont worry about other people.  MOST are clueless.  Friend wants a sub-compact.  I keep telling him dont worry about it.  They will not notice.

I like it where in the CCDW class I'm finger printing them for AZ permit.  Everyone is LESS than an arms length away from me.  When we get to the topic of carry guns, I lift my shirt and they see a double stack 45 on me.  Dont think anyone has ever noticed it from the surprised looks.
