Title: March 18 Rally in Dover
Post by: Clarence on February 19, 2020, 08:40:39 PM
As was mentioned at the Milford and Newark meetings, there will be a
rally in Dover March 18th.   See below, just received from NRA:

Join DGR, NRA, and DSSA for a day of Second Amendment Unity as we descend onto the Capitol in Dover to meet with our legislators. Together we stand and unite for our rights.

March 18th at 11 a.m. freedom lovers from across the state of Delaware will gather at 411 Legislative Ave, Dover, DE. We will conduct the pledge of allegiance, have a pro-freedom rally, and then breakout into lobbying groups to have individual meetings with our state legislators. With Virginia and Maryland at our borders, one doesn't have to look far to understand how any lapse in vigilance can cost us our very freedom. Will you stand united with us this March 18th?

Join the NRA, DSSA, and DGR in Dover on March 18th at 11 a.m. for a meet your legislature day.

Hope we can learn from Virginia and have a great turnout.

I just wish it was later in the day. Half day vacation vs. full day. But, if I want to keep it  going to have to burn the day.

How many are going.  Very important.   The other side will try to slip this through unless we show massive opposition.

Had plans to be there.

A reschedule might be the best thing as it is suppose to rain everyday next week. Or, at least that is what the Weather Channel 10 day forecast says.

I received an e-mail today 4:03 PM from DSSA as a reminder for the rally.  Nothing about session cancelled. Need clarification.  I wouldn’t put it past them put out false info to cut attendance.

Defending my 2A right is NOT contingent upon the weather.  Yours might be.

Carney has put a stop to any event with more that 100 people.  That will pretty much stop the Rally on the 18th.

That rally would be useless anyhow.  The purpose is to show unity against new gun laws, but if no one is there to see us, what is the purpose.  Iam still ready to show if it will help.

DGR was saying make an appointment w/ your legislator and have a F2F with them.  Maybe slow them down before sponsoring a Bill or voting for one. (MY OPINION)

Darn...Wed would have been a perfect day for a showing...  Makes you wonder if the Dems planted that virus.  They certainly seem happy at what it is doing to the economy.  Gument doing everything, no pesky gun rights supporters.

Yes.  They may try to pull something as an “emergency” measure.
