Title: 2020 Renewal
Post by: DelawareGold on February 20, 2020, 08:12:14 PM
I dropped off my 2020 renewal form, photo's, and $65.00 to the Superior Court (Wilmington) on January 2, 2020.
I received my new license in the mail today, February 20, 2020.

Welcome back!!  Sorry, your acct wasn't in the backup I had to restore.

Interested in action pistol in New Castle?

No worries! re-registering was easy. Good job on getting the Board up and running.
The short answer to your question is yes. I'm not really interested in competitive shooting, but Range training does little to prepare me to
defend myself in the real world. Thinking about situational awareness, collateral damage, obstacle integration, while standing in a lane
shooting paper is hardly effective defensive training. So I would be interested in "Action" training as a way to assess my ability, and
identify my weaknesses.

Look under the topic of eith training or range trip there's a thread on AP.   Few weeks ago  guy made a moveable target stand controlled by a motor and a 2 channel remote.  Set up 4 no shoots in front of it. (Church sim)

Is action pistol still held 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, along with Mondays?

I also submitted my renewal in Wilmington on Jan 2nd.
We're on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, but the daily Email from the post office shows I have a letter from the Prothonotary.
I won't know until Monday, but it looks good.

Enjoy the cruise. FORGET the mail.  It will be there when you come home.

Have fun M/M OGG.

We got home from the cruise... to no heat! Thankfully, we have firewood (not much on hand, but enough to get by overnight).

We also found our mail, including my renewed permit. So, it's chilly in most of the house, but we're packing warmth until May 2025.

I always save all my old permits. Don't know why, but it feels right.

Have you been to AP yet?

I have not. Are you referring to the Delaware State Pistol Club?
If so, I have to go to a Board meeting, and be voted in to the club.
