Title: GLOCK 43
Post by: SturmRugerSR9 on November 28, 2020, 02:56:07 PM
I was talking to a guy that has bought a Glock 43 recently. Anybody got any useful info on that pistol? Seems like a nice small size 9 MM concealed carry firearm. What say you?

Speaking only for me, I never liked those plastic guns.  I have one, but prefer the feel of iron on my belt.  Apparently I am in a minority, since they sell those things by the ton.

I bought one from Chris. Great pistol. I ended up giving it to my sister, so I definitely trusted it to work in an emergency. I'd carry it if I were traveling light.

I have had one for several years with no issues or problems. I like carrying it in a SneakyPete pouch in the summer months with the flat base mags.  This pistol is very easy to conceal.

I never said they were bad, in fact they seems very reliable.  I just don't like them, striker pistols in particular.  Horrible triggers!!!

I've had one for a couple years and never had a problem with it. For a medium-small handgun it's very accurate.
For me, it is a nice easy-to-conceal firearm.

Public is clueless!

I've carried NOTHING EXCEPT a double stack 45 for the years I've been carrying.

I’m with you on that Bill.  I have and carry one and I like it........but I love wood and metal.  With some reluctance I agree that the polymer is probably best for EDC, so I separate my gunnuttery into a practical self defense side and a fun side.  I guess it’s my age showing.
