Anyone know personally what the carry laws and or gun ownership laws are like in Arizona. Moving there by next spring.

Transporting guns also, laws for that would help too

I'm no expert, but I'm in Arizona now, so...
* No permit required to carry concealed, but not in bars... and no reciprocity
* A permit enables you to carry in bars, and provides reciprocity with most states (including DE)
* I don't think AZ law adds any restrictions to Federal safe transport laws, but I'm not certain

Where in AZ? I'm in Tucson...

I spent a few weeks in Sierra Vista, and I really liked the town. It's much cooler than Tucson in the summer.

It runs around 10 degrees cooler than Tucson, on average.

Many of the smaller cities in southern Arizona are economic backwaters, whose younger residents commute to Phoenix or Tucson... and everybody who can goes to the nearest big city for basic supplies.
Sierra Vista is right next to Fort Huachuca, so its economy is always strong. Look at the major chain stores that are available there... you won't find them in smaller towns.

One thing about Arizona's small towns: you can be one or two hours away from a decent hospital.

Wife and I enjoyed AZ very much.  Her family is here so I could not convince her to move.  NM, WY, ID, Mont, were also in my mind.

I already worked effectively on one -- a Leftist, yet -- in DE... what have I done for us lately?  ::)
(Just kidding. I'm tired, though. 2020 durn near killed me. I'm inactive).

My congressional, state and local reps are Democrats here in Tucson, but I don't know the lay of the districts.
Other than Gabby's husband, nobody in Arizona is pushing "gun control."
