With all that is going on today, it is difficult to cut ammo costs by reloading.  Brass is usually available, there it ends.   Bullets can be hard to get, primers also, powder not so bad. 

The thing is, you also can't find factory ammo for less than the proverbial arm/leg/first born.  Many of us reload larger centerfire pistol/rifle cartridges, but what do you do for your .22LR??  Search my friend, search!!!!

I have resigned to stop wasting ammo in shooting at pieces of paper and saving my ammo for bad guys.

If you don't practice, when/if the time comes you may miss the bad guy.

I bought some of those big 100 rd jars of cheap 22lr but found they were a bit unreliable in my buck mark. I'm interested in getting into reloading though. I'd really like to experiment with various 357 loads that are out there.

Reloading can be a bit expensive for equipment unless you just get single hand load gear.  Lately, finding components, primers, bullets, has been a problem.  But it is easy to experiment with loads and powder to fit your needs.
