I don't hold much hope for gun rights to move forward in Maryland. In mid January I read an article about how the FBI had to be called in to help Prince Georges County (were I was born) with their murder rate.  At that time there were more people killed in that county so far in 2011 then soldiers killed in Afghanistan in 2011. The Democrats are too strong in that state.
