I have two they work great . The butler creek steel lips mags work fine also never had a jam with either.

The Ruger look better because they are black and not a see threw smoked plastic like the butler creek. But the butler creek have lugs on the side so you can gang two together for a faster reload

They cost the same about same $25.00 ish

I like butler creek products,  I have their flip up scope covers and they are very well made.

Update

I am getting ready to take the kids out 22 shooting today and I have the butler creek 25/22 and the Ruger BX-25 side by side right now

The first thing That I noticed was A lot more steel on the Ruger brand around the feed lips , second is the Ruger is made with a HEAVIER Plastic  And it feels more solid in the hand . and last The Ruger BX-25 can be taken apart for cleaning . I have ran the Butler creek for years and never had a problem

Wit all that being said with the higher quality offering from Ruger  unless Butler creek lowers the price of their 25/22 I will only buying Ruger BX-25's from now on
