How Many fire arms can a ccw holder carry.
« on: March 10, 2012, 09:20:13 PM »
Just wondering how many fire arms are you aloud to carry at one time with your CCW haven't seen that question yet on any of the forums.

Or let me put another way how many concealed weapons can be carried. Maybe someone knows the answer and would like to share with this Newbie from Dover DE. What is the procedure for replacing a lost CCW ID card.

As far as the card, I would copy your permit and laminate them. Then keep your orig in a safe place incase you need to make more copys. I dont believe theres a limit on the amount of guns one can carry but I wouldnt want to look funny to a LEO on a traffic stop and have something like 8 guns on me. My guess is it would raise some eyebrows.

In addition to my 9mm in a IWB holster, I also carry a lock blade knife with a 4" blade. Don't forget, if you carry a knife with over a 3.5" blade, it is a concealed deadly weapon also.

I don't think there is a limitation in Delaware.

11 Del. C. ยง 222. (5)
"Deadly weapon" includes a "firearm", as defined in paragraph (12) of this section, a bomb, a knife of any sort (other than an ordinary pocketknife carried in a closed position), switchblade knife, billy, blackjack, bludgeon, metal knuckles, slingshot, razor, bicycle chain or ice pick or any "dangerous instrument", as defined in paragraph (4) of this section, which is used, or attempted to be used, to cause death or serious physical injury. For the purpose of this definition, an ordinary pocketknife shall be a folding knife having a blade not more than 3 inches in length.]

Sorry for not formatting this better, but -- I'm on my iPad.
Very few guns are actually "illegal guns."  A gun misappropriated by a criminal is no more of an "illegal gun" than a stolen car is an "illegal car."

Thanks CorBon, for the clarification. Nothing like the facts(law) to blow away people theories or suppositions. Thanks again.
