» RETAILING Guns-and-gear shop coming to Greenville

Guns for collectors and hunters alike are up for sale at a new shop opening in Greenville.

Artemis Outfitters offers new, preowned and antique shotguns, rifles and handguns, along with a variety of sporting gear. Services include gunsmithing, appraisals, FFL transfers, firearm storage, consignment sales, referrals, advice and recommendations.

Perhaps appropriately for this refined area, there’s even artwork available, including collectible decoys from regional carvers, original oil paintings and sculptures. Artemis also carries knives, clothing, archery equipment, model cannons, pepper spray and optics.

Just stopped in this shop on my lunch break.  Very cool shop!  Not a huge inventory of firearms but a nice assortment of shotguns; semi's, pumps, over and under's and vintage.  Also a few rifles, military and conventional including a couple AR15s, a No1mk4 enfield and a rock island 1903.  A small case of handguns, mostly new.  Not to mention some ammo and a variety of shooting, cleaning and hunting accessories and clothing.  Also outdoorsy collectibles and antiques.  A great place for gifts for the outdoorsman.  Very nice guys in there as well!  Not too shabby for Greenville.  Wanna go back with more time.  They said they are open 9am-6pm Monday through Saturday.  Very cool....
