Groan.. : ) I'm looking at that 16" DD and almost feel the tears. I've really been holding myself back from placing an order. Thanks and very nice.

My Daniel Defense AR arrived Tuesday. Work has been busy so all I could do is dress and caress the stick and long for some range time to sight this bad boy in. During the 7 week wait, I had plenty of time to research the accessories to sooth my anguish. A case of .223 from http://www.freedommunitions.com/ is sitting in the closet just itching to separate. I have two more trinkets in transit; a Troy front Battle Sight and UTG Tactical OP Bipod for bench work sighting. Here are some shots from the Nikon:

CMF, gorgeous rifle. I love the looks of the lw barrel, lpgb and the Lite 10" rail, very light. Congrats.

Pretty nice!!!!! Did it come with the Aimpoint? I noticed it had an Aimpoint on it, then in the other pics an Eotech.

Not sure what pictures you're taking about ? It came with iron sights. Then I ordered a DD mount and an Aimpoint h1 for it. Absolutely love it.

My mistake I was confusing yours with another set of pics, but it still is a sweet looking rifle. I like the Aimpoint optics though. I run the T-1 micro on my M&P 15.

I purchased my S&W M&P 15 3 weeks ago and finally got to the range last Friday to poke some holes in the air. Very impressed with this as it has been a number of years since I have owned a semi-auto rifle.
I was expecting to be a little off but  the first 6 rounds were withing a 3 inch circle at 100 yards. Seem like some thing you never forget.

Oh, my pistol shooting needs some work <grin>
