Don't forget, if you have an active CCW and apply for renewal, you old permit is legal and enforce until you are either renewed or denied. So if you applied in Jan. with a valid CCW and it runs out in March, but you have not received the renewal, you are still legal. Check the Delaware Code, it's right there.
You know if you have been arrested or had some violation that would prevent renewal, now wouldn't you?

This is WHY I took 3 copies in.  2 for them and one for me which I asked her to time stamp plus the receipt.

I dropped mine off in Mod March and got it back the first week in May.  Sussex County....Im good till 2018 now thank god

Renewing CCW permit for first time

My original DE CCW permit expires 5/31/14. In addition to the downloaded application just what else do I need to submit ? Do I have to be finger printed again ? Whats the cost of the new permit ?
Have looked through the other permits and have found some misleading info. This will be  Kent County submission.

Application (check renewal) and photos. $65.00.
I'd write on the back of the photos your name.

Original and 1 copy will be filed.  I'd make a 2nd
copy for my records (CYA).
