Found it. The FFL must maintain name/address and make it available for inspection.
Again, I can see the criminals running out and doing this...
BTW, I
used to live in NJ and now PA. This is what was required to own a firearm and to buy ammo:
-Go to the local PD and pick up paperwork.
-Set a time to meet with the Sheriff.
-Go back with paperwork (2-3 pages)
-Make sure you have $68 (Money orders ONLY)
-Get finger printed, have a face to face meeting, go over paperwork and any concerns. Takes about 15-30 minutes and asked why you want guns.
-Wait 30-90 days for approval after they hear from 2 references.
-Go back again and meet with the PD and go over a few things.
-If you get a permit to buy a hand gun it lasts only for 90 days and must be renewed
at the PD for another 90 days...then it permanently expires.
-If you want more permits to buy a hand gun you go through the process again!
-If you want to buy ammo (.22LR, .223, .410 or any handgun ammo) it must be logged and show your license and FOID card.
BTW, FTF transfers are ILLEGAL and all transactions must go through an FFL. So, to all those that are thrilled that background checks that posted on the Miller Firearms thread, this is what you're asking for. Also, how's that helped with crime in Camden, AC, Newark, Hoboken, Glouster, etc, etc, etc. It does NOTHING! I felt like a freaking criminal for simply practicing an INALIENABLE Right! From what I've heard is it's much worse now and wait times are minimum of 3-4 months,
home inspections, unwarranted searches, questioning family members why YOU need a gun etc.
Keep it up people, the "for your safety" bs leads to your rights eroded.
OH, BTW, this has NOTHING to do with your CCW, this process is only to be ABLE to purchase a BB gun, ammo, shotgun or rifle. Handguns require the additional steps...
