I don't know that it would matter either way, I know one of my references marked no, but it would probably be best if the court knew that your friends were aware.

unfortunately, in many cases (not all) folks who are applying are fully capable and qualified, etc... but they dont have a terrific reason to be carrying!!  So, they find themselves making up a BS excuse to get it put through.  I think that if you pass the background, pass the course, and have 5 folks vouching for you that putting down protecting yourself / family and/or property should be just fine. 

Fortunately, i do have a valid reason and 5 friends who were gracious enough to put their signature on paper.

New to this forum. Teacher, retired US Army (22 years), gun owning (love those Sigs), conservative, and concerned about the way our country is going.

Nice had a 229 in 9mm and 40SW also used to have a 225 now I have just my 250 in 9mm

Love the 229 SAS...nice to conceal and feels great! Mosquito is for my 15 year old. 226 was just too good to pass up and a nice addition to the Sig family.
