Here's mine, freefloated 20" heavy barrel upper on a Stag lower. I admit the scope is a little big but I got a good deal on it

They are so fun to shoot. The recoil is @@@@ near straight back so very little muzzle rise. Only draw back is cost of ammo. I need to start reloading 223 so I can shoot it more.

the ar platform is great i have 2 a Bushmaster and the other I built. Its a colt uper woth a 20"barrel a S & W lower and a Bushmaster A2 fixed stock ( I call it my shootnstine).
Also the .223 round is cool to , but if you ever get the chance to shoot the 5.7x28mm that too is a cool round

Is it legal to carry an AR-15 or a shotgun in your trunk?

Pre election you could have one for about $800. I sold a Stag arms model 1 for $825 on 10/18/08. If you were to buy one now you would be at the mercy of the seller. Demand has jacked up the price. I have several rifles on order from Stag that I am expecting in 2 months. I have not been informed what the price increase is yet and may not know untill they have shipped. Likely my price for the identical rifle will be at least $950.
