Me I'm kinda partial to Sig over the years I've owned smith and wessons and glocks and none ever fit my hand like a Sig.

I think Sig makes a great gun and has always been very inovative with design, I just wish they made wheelguns. Smith & Wesson has Eastwood on its side and you can't beat the prancing pony on the side of the Colt. You see I really do suffer from gun envy!

Where the hell is Taurus?
I would rather have a NRA member in front of me than a Brady member behind me.

What surprises me is no one has mentioned HK. I think they make some of the nicest guns out here like there new P30 however $900 for a 9mm polymer gun is way out of my league price wise.

I've got a Springfield loaded 1911 that I bought 10 years ago when they first started selling them all tricked out. By far my favorite gun, shoots everything I put in it. That started my love affair with the 1911, now I want them all.

I think Springfields are ok. What I dislike about them is that they sort of "deceive" the public with their slogan "Springfield Armory USA." As far as I know the two guns that I am concerned about, meaning I would think about getting it, 1911s and the XDs, none of them are made in the US. The 1911s are made in Brazil, and the XDs are made in Croatia. Now, why is that? Cheaper labor maybe, and for the XDs cheaper laber and perhaps marketing strategy since Glocks are made in Austria!!! Maybe a lot of other gun makers use the same parts, some coming from IMBEL (Brazil), but I would rather go with a gun maker that has pride of ownership and makes and builds its own guns!

I believe that most of. The guns sig sells in the us are made here the frames used to be imported but I think they are even made here now. The P250 since its a new gun is only us made no parts are imported.
