Any new permits received?

Now, I have no expectations when I look in the mailbox (I'm at 8 weeks).  I have a looong way to go.  I figure I have at least 4 more weeks and maybe more.

Has anyone received their permit lately?


On a side note.  I was reading the Florida permit laws and i noticed that PA stopped recognizing any out-of-state Florida permits as of February, 2013.  They still recognize Florida resident permits.

What county?  I am in NCC.  I just talked with a very nice lady at the Prothonotary and she gave me an update that I was in the next to the last stage.  she said it would most likely be a couple of weeks.  I am currently in week 18.

MarkB, you should receive your in week or two. Sussex is running about 9 weeks now.
When I received mine it was 6 weeks but that was very early this year.

Not to be a naysayer but I wouldn't count on it....I'm >9 weeks in Sussex and when I contacted the prothonotary earlier this week she indicated it would likely be "several more weeks."

They must be farther behind now than a few weeks ago.
One thing I noticed today the number of requests posted in "The Guide" for this week (Aug 9) was only 11.
The last issue I checked was July 5 issue and there were 23.

Gotta eat my words...despite what the lady told me Monday my permit arrived today. Went back and checked the date I submitted and it was actually 10 weeks exactly.
