Got my permit today, now we are just waiting on my wife's to get here. ;D

Congrats on the permit...i always feel good when another gets a permit ....watch for the doorways,,,,,that's what someone told me when i just got mine not too long ago..

Just curious - how long ago did you submit your application?  I recieved my letter from the Dept of Justice saying they had no objections two weeks ago.  I keep waiting for the permit to come in and was wondering what the time frame is now.

James it could take four to six weeks to get your permit at this point.

Oh my word!!  I was thinking of calling the Prothonotary's office to see if my app has been approved yet and possibly just waiting to be mailed out.  I would imagine they get a lot of calls like this but patience isn't my strongest virtue.

James, I'm not sure how long between the letter and the permit but I believe it was about 3 weeks or so. I did call them to see if it was processing and they said yes. I also was at the office in person while my wife was filing her papers and asked again. They said it was renewal time and they were a little backed up. We were there in the middle of april and I got my permit within 2 weeks.
 Thanks hawk and glock.
 The doorway thing is a good point. Got a new bump to look out for.

Yeah, I called new hampshire yesterday and the recording said they were working on the end of march apps. Luckily I filed ours before it went up. I got lucky. Didn't know they were raising the price.
