All Day Carry
« on: September 17, 2013, 02:56:28 AM »
I'm sure most of you have fond this out but - I find that if I wear a tank undershirt under my tee shirt I can keep my IWB holster (appendix carry) on all day long with no chaffing or rubbing or discomfort.  There are times when I can't feel it there.  I use a Harwell Quick-Clip IWB and a Springfield XD-S (I know about the recall.  My .45 is in for update, then I'll send my 9mm.)

I asked my girlfriend to get me some if she ever seen some cheap ones out and about.  Told her to buy me 2 sizes smaller than the T Shirts I normally wear (I like baggy shirts, helps hide the print).  She bought me 2 packs at BJ's at a great price.  I found that with the snug fit, and my baggy T Shirts, I usually forget that I am carrying.

I have carried for more than 24 hours (dont ask) with my crossbreed super tuck and I have zero issues with it.

When Im in a vehicle, I tuck my t shirt tail in between the grip checkering and my back, but I dont feel like I have to do that when Im not seated

Saw this Crossbreed Super Tuck style holster called a Pro-Carry Hybrid on The Holster Store .com web site for $59.95. Now I have seen Crossbreed Super Tuc selling for $170.00. My question is , unless you just have money to blow, why would you spend $170.00 for a $60.00 holster anyway? The materials a almost identical, the design almost the same. So what is the $110.00 difference? Is it just so you can say you have a concealed Crossbreed that nobody is suppose to see anyhow?

Can anyone explain this to me?

Not sure where you saw the Crossbreed for $170.  Here is a link to their site...it is advertising about $70:

Still more than the $60 Pro-Carry, but a far cry from the $170.

Moosie,
I thought it was on a Crossbreed website. AOL has been sucky lately, and I can't even get into their website. AOL has got to be the most frustrating ISP on the net. I can get into other sites but not crossbreed. I'll check it out and get back to ya'.

Moosie,
I finally got AOL perculating again. Found the sight I saw the $170.00 Crossbreeds.

It is http://www.best-price.com/search/landing/query/crossbreed+holsters/s/google/koid/1405411402/?query=crossbreed+holsters&mob=0&gclid=CJ6S6qa8m7oCFSVgMgodQmQAOg

Also was able to get to the real Crossbreed site and wow, what a difference. The other sight should change it's name to www.highestpriceontheplanet.com not Best-price.com

Sorry

No worries...  Glad you got it cleared up.  Crossbreed is a great brand for me.
