Hi all,

I received my DE CCW permit a few months ago and received my PA LTCF a few weeks ago and wanted to say hello. I'm a dental student in Philly, but I never changed my permanent address from Wilmington, so I needed to get my DE permit before I could get my PA permit. Being able to carry in Philly was the main goal - it's rough up here! But I plan to move back to Wilmington after school in a few years and will be carrying when in DE in the meantime, so I will be keeping up with the laws and asking for any needed help along the way on this site. Thanks in advance to everyone!

Just some additional info to bore you with - I grew up in a very gun-friendly household and have a lot of experience with firearms, but am still ecstatic to be able to legally carry concealed - it feels so much different than just taking guns to a range or going hunting. I've taken several shooting courses over the years, but am particularly excited about my TrinTac's advanced conceal carry course coming up in May. Has anyone taken this course? It sounds really fun and seems to be packed with good training scenarios.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad to be a part of this site - I've learned a lot just reading through the posts today.

For the time being (bought on a student budget) I'm concealing the new Taurus Millennium (PT111) G2 in 9mm. The stippled grip and the price are what sold me, but it's honestly smooth as butter and I can't recommend it enough if anyone has been looking at it. I still want to buy one of the tried and true's when my budget allows - either a S&W M&P 9c, Springfield XD-S, or Kimber Ultra Carry II ($$$!!!).
