Intro to Combative Carbine Level I

This training module is designed to get the operator to use their carbine platform in the correct manner and for the correct situations. Our goal is to get you up to par on the basics and instill the fundamentals to start working towards advanced skill sets.
Introduction to this weapon platform and the different types of actions, ammo, and uses. We will conduct an overall safety brief that will deal with Range Safety and Range Etiquette.
We will run a gear check looking specifically at Optics, Slings, and Magazine Holders
Discussion on possible malfunctions and fixes as well as speed and tactical reloads.
We will work on proper Grip, Stance, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture.
We will discuss the BZO or Battle Sight Zero.
The live fire drills we will preform will use the Carbine and the sling we will do drills in static form, while in motion, from alternate positions, and from cover.
This course has a LOW STRESS LEVEL and is not meant to be difficult. It dose deal with changing shooting positions and strong hand weak hand manipulations.
AMMO Requirement: 300 to 500 rounds of Carbine. Accepted Carbines: Any box magazine fed style of shoulder fired firearm.
