NSSF is urging all members of the firearms and ammunition industry to contact their U.S. senators and representatives and strongly urge them to co-sponsor S.632 and H.R.510, legislation to change the firearms and ammunition excise tax payment schedule to quarterly from bi-weekly. This legislation will rectify a longstanding inequity in the frequency with which firearms and ammunition manufacturers pay the excise tax.
