Road trip...
« on: September 26, 2014, 11:26:25 PM »
We're off to Florida for a week, driving to Savannah tomorrow and the rest of the way Sunday.

Thanks to Gary's site, I have a fresh set of printed PDF's for the states we'll be traversing in the travel notebook, and we're checking them twice...

Be careful when in MD and SC.

We're leaving the house locked up and unloaded for Maryland; we'll resume our usual armed stance after we get to Virginia.
South Carolina will be OK with the locked steel box in my center console.

And, as always, we won't stop or spend money in those states where we're not welcome!

Sounds like a plan.

We made it to Florida... great hotel, hot as heck, weather is great. The hemi cop car ran great, getting 26+ mph at 75-85 mph cruising speeds.

It's such a huge convenience to be able to easily locate and print a well-researched, obsessively detailed & current summary of state firearm laws for reference on a trip like this.

When we get back, we need to donate toward the maintenance of handgunlaw.us!

Glad you made it there safely!

We got back alive! (Thanks again to Gary and his great Web site... donation will follow)!

3260 miles, including side trips to Ft. Myers and Key West. Mrs. OldGrayGeek is adding up how much fuel we used.
