Taurus Curve

What are you thoughts on the new Taurus Curve? Sure is an odd looking contraption.  This looks like one of those either you love it or hate it things, no middle ground.

Okay, who sat on the press gun. O it's supposed to be bent like that?

If it had sights I would say it's worth a try assumming that you like 380, and it's reliable and reasonably accurate.  With out sights to me it's not even worth looking at.

I'm glad designers are thinking outside the box. Crosshairs and a laser. Bent around the hip (for a rightie). Made in the USA.
I'll stick with my Sig or Springfield, but it's different.

Augh! That's about the ugliest modern day handgun I've seen and I own 2 Hi-Points which are better looking. I get the lack of sights with the built in laser though still thinks it's wrong.

Too bad Taurus patented it... because, if Glock made it, I might actually buy one.

Agree it is ugly. I guess it is all what you are looking for and I am NOT looking for anything like the Curve.

It kind of looks like a stubby Taser design with a curve thrown into the mix minus the barrel.
I wouldn't buy one but would take one for free !  ;D

Of course it will.. So did the Pet Rock with carrier in the 70s. Made the creator a millionaire in a few months! Doesn't mean I want one :)

I don't want one, nor do I like it. But if designers think outside of the box, someone may design an awesome pistol, or not.

This may work for some folks but it will not work for me. I am just an old school guy that is very satisfied with the weapons that carry and shoot.

Agreed.  While I do embrace some of the innovated designs, I predict this idea will crash and burn.  Just look at  reference books on firearms history. Chock full of weird items like this.

This will wind up in such a book as well. Ideas that died a borning. As such will probably be a collectors item some day.

It's looks are not very intimidating, but, does, however, have a Euro-tech appearance,  which should appeal to some fence-sitting hoplophobiac or Europhile.
If not them, then a Star Trek TNG fanatic would see something they like about it.
It seems that Taurus is trying to reach out to the more liberal among us.
