Beau Biden Funeral-Westboro Baptist Church Protest

While Beau was not exactly a friend to gun owners, he does not deserve these scum showing up at his funeral.

WBC to picket the funeral of Beau Biden, son of Joe Biden who holds a position of power in today's Doomed America with a very public platform with which he could give the glory to God for this event.  Rather, news reports indicate the elder Biden will be praying the rosary.  The Lord Jesus Christ plainly said to keep yourselves from idols at 1 John 5:21.  Yo, Joe!  Start reading the Bible and OBEY and get rid of the goofy beads.  They are an idol made with hands and cannot save you, Beau or anyone!

If you are available, please consider snowing up to block their protest efforts.
At the recent funeral of a police officer citizens rigged sheets and banners on poles that could be unfurled in front of the Westboro protesters.
If you go, let the police know what you are doing so that they can help you get in the front row.

First let me say, I was not a fan of Beau Biden's or anybody in his Democrat party, state or Federal. But I believe , if you are not going to his funeral viewing or service to pay respect to him and his family, you are going for the wrong reason. This is a time of grieving for the family. You must remember, no matter what you political affiliation, these are a family that is in pain for the lose of a loved one. How would you like it if someone came in a said negative things at the funeral of your son, daughter, wife, husband or parents. It goes back to the old Golden Rule, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". If you are not fans of the Biden's or their beliefs, simply stay away. I am.

I was not a fan of Beau Biden, his Dad or any Democrat.  This sort of hits home with me. I lost my son 15yrs ago and it one awful thing. The family needs to handle this in which they deem fit. The WBC are scumbags and I do know how they can think they are Christians. I do know the pain that Joe Biden and the family are going through. Beau did raise his hand and wore the uniform. That is more that his dad did and IMHO Joe Biden was a draft dodger.

Westboro idiots will have their say. They are best ignored. I hope the media declines to even mention them. This will hurt them bad. They will have wasted their time and money.

My heart goes out to the Biden family.  A family has lost their husband, son, and father.  This transcends politics.  May God bless and keep the Biden family.

A diverse and bipartisan group of over 100 Delaware residents was able to neuter the effect of 3 Westboro scum by
surrounding them, flying American flags and holding up signs in support of the Biden family. They also sang Amazing Grace in order to drown out the protestors.

The blockade was also effective in limiting the ability of reporters to take pictures of their protest signs.

Wile it is preferable that these people get no news exposure whatsoeve, it was very clear in the news reports that they are no more than cry babies trying to disrupt a solem event. They were dutifully allowed to engage in their right to free speech. However, no one was able to hear them.

Agreed... Not a fan of any Democrat or a fair number of Republicans for that matter. But when a man loses his son at a young age, it is dishonorable in the extreme to kick him while going through the pain and grief that I am certain he feels. Worse still to pick on his faith.
These are the tactics of Communists, Socialists and other sick thugs, not of decent people. I will probably never agree with Biden on any political subject but I can at least sympathize with his loss and give him space to deal with it. The Westboro folks should show some decency and some honor.
