New to Forum and CCW
« on: July 04, 2015, 04:17:08 PM »
Hi folks,
New member also from Magnolia.  Former AF.  Been around here since 78 and have seen some progression and unfortunately some regression! After a couple of break ins and the aforementioned body being dumped down the road from me(see Mountaineer's post).  I have decided it's time to start carrying.

Looking for a good training class right now.  Open to suggestions.

I'll likely carry my Glock19 as I like shooting it much more than my CZ even though the CZ is smaller.

Welcome to the forum there are a lot of really good people here that will answer any of  your questions. I am currently a month into my wiat for my permit I used these guys for my training course https://sites.google.com/site/firststatefirearmstraining/home  they were very informative and are still very helpful if you have any other questions for them.  I carry a Ruger SR9C,  still waiting on my zachs gun belt to get here and my stealth gear holster.

Hey,
Former blue suiter and newbie here too!  What was your AFSC?  I was a 2E251 --- small computer and switching specialist --- worked on PCs, crypto, mainframes and even flight mission planning systems.

Welcome, @cobra1365. Feel free to ask more questions.  Have you started your CCDW application?

Welcome to the forum. I live not far from you, ex-USAF myself. I took my training all in one day at Marino Tactical Solutions. They are on Clendaniel Rd. Lincoln. it is I believe, the 1st road to the right below the Lincoln light. Go to the end of the road, last house on the right. Kirk Marino is a police officer and US Army Reserve.  He and his partner are both very good. I thoroughly enjoyed the training, and had my permit in 8 weeks from time I applied. I fire a Ruger SR9  myself.

It's been almost 4 years since I took my course, he must have moved, or are you talking about Peterman's house?
