Renewal - 48 days

Dropped my renewal and my wife's application off at the NCC Courthouse on February 10. They told me about 3 months for renewals and received mine today  8) . We'll see how long my wife's takes.

I turned mine in on Jan. 4 in Sussex.  I got nothing.

Update: Just called the prothonotary office and they been sitting on it. The lady said she will have it in the mail tomorrow. I wonder how long it would of taken if I didn't follow up?  ???

Sounds to me like they were sitting on the renewals in order to process the new applications. The renewals permits are still valid even if not processed by may 31st. as long as the renewal was sent in. There has been a lot of new applications this year and I believe they were given priority in processing. Might be wrong, but don't think so.

Although my renewal was handled on schedule, I wouldn't have minded waiting so that new permits could be processed, thereby putting more "carry" on the street. I was only concerned (and Dale did confirm) that my app was in process. 
Just a smelly deplorable dreg of society clinging to God and guns.

I received my renewal yesterday after dropping off in New Castle County on January 5.

My wife and I both received our renewal Saturday Apr 9 after turning in my renewal in on Jan 4 at Sussex county.

My wife just received her CCDW today, so that makes 83 days for NCC. Definitely getting better. :D

She was on jury duty in January of 2015, so I told her it was a jury duty summons from Superior Court. She was REALLY ticked off when she tore the envelope open.  ;D
