I don't understand other states dropping or not recognizing DE, it is not guaranteed here and has some tough requirements.

Delaware will quickly drop Nevada.  But of course politics is front and center.

So I did some looking around trying to find out why they would drop Delaware. As we all know we have a lot of requirements to get a DE CCDW license DOJ,AG and a judge Etc etc. Well Nevada requires states they honor to have an electronic database accessible 24 hours a day to verify each license holder. To my knowledge we don't have that??? I'm not aware of one so that appears to be the reason. Sucks yes but it's pretty easy to get some of the states they honor. For those who travel to NV I would recommend the VA permit.

According to the DE AG'so website..."Law enforcement officials from other jurisdictions can verify Delaware CCDW permits by contacting the Delaware State Police Headquarters on a 24/7 basis via NLET.AM directed to DEDSP0000 or by calling 302-659-2341"

Not sure if that satisfies their requirement.

Correct. De has the database however its restricted and cannot be viewed by outside organizations. This is a Good Thing for us.

Hopefully in a few more years it will not matter with national carry if things go right.  ;D
