Kent Co Application update

Submitted application back on 11 March. Received a call from AG office today requesting a 5 year driving record since I haven't had my license in Delaware over that time period. Mailing request to Texas today for it. So the wait continues but at least there has been some movement. Thanks for all the help on here.

That was one of the things my instructor told me when I took my course I had only been in Delaware for almost 2 years he had told me to get my drivers abstract from MD.  I think this is something that should be passed on.  I think this is why it is good to take the class before you submit your application.

I took the class prior to submitting as well but wasn't told this and I agree that it would have been good to know prior. Texas is saying 2-3 week turnaround to me then I have to deliver to the AG office. Probably equals at least another 2 months of waiting.

I guess I might as well look for the copy of my Virginia driving record I have, or prepare to spend more money if it has to come to them from the VA DMV. 

This state is ridiculous.

So I got my certified abstract driving record from Texas that went back 20 years so I hope this makes Delaware happy. I sent it in on Wednesday to the AG office. Lets hope this doesn't take too much longer now! Thanks to everyone for the advice and support on this wait.

So after a 7 month wait I finally received my license today! Thanks to everyone here and I have learned a bunch, I truly appreciate the recommendations from your experience.
