So my wife and I have been waiting for 6 1/2 months so far. Today my wife called and got to talk to a really nice and helpful lady. She tried in the past and only got an answering machine, so she was glad to talk to a human this time. Anyway she explained how long its been, and that we were told to expect to hear something within 60 days. She was put on hold so the lady could see where in the system our applications were and if there was any problems. It turns out they are in a stack of applications that just came back from Wilmington (ours had no objections). She said the judge (who will be back next week) just needs to sign them and they will be on the way. We already took our class so there should be no hold up after they're signed.
So my guess is by the time they make it through everything and mailed, with any luck we should see them in another 2 weeks or so. I'm just glad they weren't lost behind a desk somewhere
