Delaware's constitution trumps our real constitutional rights? Doesn't pass the smell test. God given rights, according to the framers, is now in the hands of the very people they were written to protect us from. I'm pissed.

I'm pissed too brother, when you are out with your family in a remote area of a state park, these clowns want you to be helpless.  This sucks.

I guess there will be a bunch of us carrying our shotguns through the park. I'm going to look funny in my bathing suit at Cape Henlopen with my 12 gauge.
I can see my legal face down in the sand in cuffs. Maybe that's what is required. I can get a little face time in the paper with the light blue background.

Can we assume that this will be appealed to the Delaware Supreme Court?
Here’s the real issue: when your religion is government, and government is god, you cannot tolerate any other God before it

I would hope so. I think the folks who started this aren't ones to quit so easily.

What an uninformed statement by the court: "As for Plaintiffs’ concerns for self defense, the Court observes the need to respond to a
threat with a firearm is diminished when firearms are prohibited in the area."

Upon what evidence did the court "observe" this truism?  I suppose it's based upon the general and universally accepted wisdom that criminals would never bring a firearm to a location where they are prohibited.  SMH.

I saw that too.  What a ludicrous deduction.  I wonder if there will be an appeal to the State Supreme Court ? Called Article 20 Delaware's version of the Second Amendment.  That is just strange.

This surely needs to go to the Delaware Supreme Court.

I guess I'll spend my money in PA parks.
