Constitution Yards (new Wilmington beer garden)
« on: June 26, 2016, 02:06:08 AM »
Checked out Constitution Yards for dinner this evening with some friends.

They have unarmed guards that check ID & give a wrist band to those of legal drinking age.
Asked to look in the women's bags but did not open interior compartments.
Totally ignored the bulge under my shirt.

Otherwise great crowd, more Greenville/Hockesin types than anything else. Very good mix of all ages including kids. They even have a large area where you can bring your dog. No local riff-raff. Basic food selection & not expensive

Checked it out.  Nice idea. Family atmosphere.

Food was a disappointment.  High priced and limited selection.

Will have to see how
This develops.  Looks like a work in progress.

No issues regarding carry.

Constitution Yard is a great place to chill with family after dinner.
I live a rock throw away from C. Y. and the first season it opened, I had no issues.
It does carry good amount of beer (especially on those hot days) and even harder liquors but a bit expensive.
Games are free but first come first serve. They do sell food for those a bit tipsy and Last winter they had ice ring.

*in no way, this is a sponsorship

I do recommend, even to check it out. Hope it helps.

I'm considering going, but based on previous posts, has the food improved?

Radnor that's a good move . Your wife should return the favor  ;D. I'm up that way daily for work and no way will I drive up there on my time . I hate traffic and it's about a 50 min ride from home.
