With all the news about violence and gangs in Chicago, here is a positive story.

Remember that Illinois was the very last state to legalize any form of carry in 2013.  And it took a federal court order to make it happen.  

In this case the robber didn't die, but he is off the street and from the news report, if the shot was lucky, he might not  be passing his DNA on to the next generation.
