Dillon XL650
« on: May 27, 2017, 07:34:41 PM »
A couple of months ago i was able to score a used Dillon XL650 with a loading bench and a bunch of other supplies off of Gunbroker. I've been working on different loads and have settled on a load that functions well in my Glock 30. Thanks Chris for hooking me up with supplies to get me started. Now I just need to get out and shoot more to tighten my groups.

I have the Lee 4 turret press.  Not as fast as the Dillon but much less $$$$ and serves my purpose well.

Sweet setup! Is it your first progressive press? Let us know how it runs.

I'm curious how it works out for you too. I'm considering loading.

It's my first press of any kind. I was thinking back and forth between the Dillon 550 and the 650 when this one came up and was able to negotiate a very fair price. So far I've had no issues and it's running great. The shell feeder is a must have option with the 650.

I started with a Lee single stage press which I still use for rifle and added a Hornady progressive which I have been happy with. The Dillion presses have a great warranty which I believe covers second hand presses as well.
