New bedroom protection
« on: September 08, 2017, 10:51:46 AM »
I'm now the proud owner of an FNX tactical purchased from Chris.  Also installed a Burris fastfire 3 and a streamlight Tlr-1HL. I have managed to get a half dozen mags full down range and I am impressed with how well it's shooting so far. This is my new 1st grab for bedside protection with 15+1. Also ordered a leather lined holster from Garrett holsters for the occasional carry or shooting needs . Cretainly not my main carry but I like options .

Congrats on a fine pistol.  You'll love it.

Why not?!?  It's my EDC.  Plus before my boating accident, I had 3 of them.  When you go to action pistol carry gun goes into the bag
and its TWIN I'd practice with.  When done AP, switch.  The 3rd was a house gun.

Thanks Radnor.I will carry it when weather permits the clothing needed to help cover it . But for summertime it's tuff hiding a canon on a big man  ;D currently use a M&p shield 9 for summertime .. I never go to a public range since I am fortunate to live where I set targets up outback and plink. Actually thinking about setting up some steel at various distances for more excitement .

The public is CLUELESS!  They will not see it even if it was neon orange.

I go to a festival that attracts 250K people over the 3 days.  No one has ever seen it.
Before the FNX I carried a LDA dbl stack 45 full size.  No issues.

Next time you're out and about look at the people and all the crap they have hanging off their belt.  ::)

Well I recieved my Garrett owb leather lined holster today for the FNX. This is my 1st Garrett holster and  is high quality. Silent and adjustable. It carries the FNX close to your body and actually makes cc very possible with such a large pistol.
