Bond Arms
« on: September 19, 2017, 11:43:39 PM »
I was at bike week over the weekend. There was a truck there with a display out front that said Bond Arms. A company out of Texas. They produce mostly derringers. The interesting part was that the gun has interchangeable barrels. It's an over under two shot. They have different length barrels  along with different calibers. I see they are available at Federal Firearms. Does anyone have any experience with them. What are your thoughts on these guns. I know it's part novelty, but it felt good in my hand.

I have one in 410/45. I have the Snake Slayer with the longer barrel. It is nice to carry when I work outside in the yard.

I'm looking at the papa bear. i like the way the grip felt in my hand. it has a little depression for my pinky. plus i like the option of changing barrels. The other barrel prices aren't to bad. wish there were more companies who did this. even though it's only a two shot, it's still pretty nifty.

is it a regular carry for you. do you feel it's enough to do the job if it were needed?

the big bear comes with a 3" barrel, can it be ordered with a 3 1/2 instead?

just asked bond, they said no. although i when i get the gun i could just pay then an extra 35 and they'll do a barrel switch with me

I was carrying it for  a while.   nice size to put in pockets with big bang.

some worry, and think 3 clips, a backup gun, a AR in truck, ect . ect.

I like something I can hold in my hand , in my pocket.

try aiming your 1911 at someone from your pants pocket.
