Ok so evidently Sig Sauer made around 10,000 Sig P228R's Both slide and frame are made in Germany a real plus and the guns are assembled in Exeter. The only thing I dis-like about it is the rail but I can live with it. Over all its a great pistol and definitely meets Sig Sauer's quality. Comes with two 13 rd magazines and I picked up a Mec-Gar 15 rd magazine for $21.00. Overall the gun shoots great and comes with night sights. Trigger pull is a little heavy for double action first shot but the follow up single action shots are nice and smooth.
