State Parks / Forests Hearing
« on: February 23, 2018, 03:47:05 PM »
The final public hearing on state park carry regulations will be held on Monday evening March 12th at the Richardson and Robbins Building
89 Kings Highway, Dover in the DNREC auditorium.

Hopefully we can have a large attendance to make sure the Supreme Court decision is honored and law abiding
People will be able to have protection in parks and forests.

IMHO, DNREC is headed in the right direction in the new regs as discussed here.  I still disagree with the camping area restriction and have asked the Deputy AG if the 3rd Circuit 12-3433 ruling on firearms in Wilmington Housing public areas is a precedent (he has not responded). Also will be interesting if the slide pack still says that school concealed carry is not permitted (Fed & DE State laws allow but "no gun" sign may be posted at individual schools).
