An informative report on the status of the various gun control bill in Dover.

I read this as our efforts to contact the legislators and news outlets and show them we are opposed to these bills is working.  Not only do we need to keep up the pressure, we need to increase the pressure.

As part of this, I share with you a response from my Rep, Steve Smyk.  I am also working with Ernie Lopez, my Senator, on this.

We in Legislative Hall need you more than you need us.  I, as well as the majority of Sussex legislators, are one of the few on your side. Its necessary for us to hear your thoughts. We need your support as the Progressive Liberals are sending an onslaught of false information for public consumption. Through this they have encouraged a public writing campaign in the news media. These efforts can only be combatted by letters like yours to me, other law makers and to the editorial pages of papers.
Please, continue to educate others with your understanding. Contact anyone you believe can assist in public understanding.
Id like to thank you personally for allowing me to support your position.  We are on the correct side of the law and the constitutional understandings and interpretations of same by our highest courts.
Keep up your diligence.

Steve Smyk

Steve is asking for help from ALL of us.  We need to increase the pressure to keep our rights.  Let's get rolling and overwhelm them with letters and comments.  It's a CALL TO Action we cannot afford to ignore.
