Holster Help Needed
« on: May 14, 2018, 09:17:13 PM »
Okay, I'm nearing my wit's end finding a holster for my first generation Walther P99.  Right now I'm carrying in a hybrid leather/kydex holster from Black Arch/SHTF Gear and it's great...except when it's hot.  The suede backing makes for an extra schweddy carry experience and I'm a little concerned for the long term durability of a leather backing that's getting a daily sweat bath in the summer.  In a perfect world, Black Point Tactical would make a Mini Wing holster to fit my P99, but of course, they don't.  So I'd like to find something that's an all kydex summer comfort type IWB  holster along the lines of the Blade Tech Nano that I have for my HK's.  Everything I've found to date for a Walther is fore the PPQ, PPS, PPS M2, and in the slim chance it's for a P99, it's for the second generation P99 which has a different rail and trigger guard profile (i.e. bigger and chunkier).  It seems that my first generation P99 is the red headed bastard step child of the Walther pistol lineup insofar as accessories.  Any insight y'all can offer?

Try these people Their prices are right, they have a large selection, and their shipping is fairly quick. They are located in Florida and use U.S. made materials and labor.

www.theholsterstore.com

You can look up availability by your gun make and model.

I can help you out with an IWB Kydex holster using your P99 as the mold for the holster.

The only P99 holster that they show is for the Compact which is a Gen 2 gun  :-\
