GUNS AND GOLD GIVE AWAY FROM NRA

Well it's that time again where the NRA gives away a virtual arsenal of guns and this year $15,000 worth of gold also. The prizes range from the afore mentioned down to a hat for 10th prize. My entry came in the mail today. It also went in the trash today.

I have posed this question before and will again:

HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN, HEARD, KNOW OF ANYBODY THAT EVER WON ANYTHING IN THESE "CONTESTS"?


I've been a member for about 10 years and get these often and have never heard of any winners.
 So I pose this question to you guys and gals also.

I’m a life member but have not received an entry?? I would throw it away if I recieved one anyhow. No I have never heard of a winner, but I would assume someone wins.

My understanding here is that the winners are privately contacted and awarded. They don’t publicize the winners. That said, one can email the NRA and request who won. I’d guess you’d receive a list of names only however, perhaps names and state but that would be all.
