Aries other then Pasport photos and the application filled out and a check is their anything else needed for renewal?

Same app as filing for a new permit. Just mark renewal at the top, new photos within 30 days of filing for renewal. No references, finger prints or newspaper ad needed. (not yet).

At some point it all will change. Permits will be good for 3 years at first and then 5 years after every renewal. Price will go up based on yearly fee. Your CCDW permits will be webbed into your drivers license, no photos will be needed they will just use your drivers photos. (how and when all this will take place is a guessing game, no one has an answer)

Don't be surprised if you wake up some day and the DSP has full control over the CCDW process.

I would, it's a renewal not a re-approval. The only thing I changed from my original was I added "As a current CCDW permit holder who carries on a day basis I seek renewal of my permit for......."

so i checked my mail yesterday and there was a letter  from the department of justice. It was just a copy of a letter that was sent to the prothonotary office saying the criminal history inquiry was complete and they found nothing wrong. So what does this mean?  How much longer do I have to wait?

I called the court house today just to check up and I was told it should be in my hands by the end of next week.


And Moosie Since this was my thread I think i should be invited to the hot tub too...LOL...I always thought that uniforms were "optional" when getting in hot tubs

So I went to the courthouse this morning and picked up my  permit .  I got a phone call yesterday saying it was going to be mailed out but it would have to go to dover first then they would send it to me.. What a waist of time and money.. I told them to hold it and I would be into get it.  Now im waiting on my supertuck that I ordered about 3 weeks ago so I hope it comes soon.

Good for you.  Wait til the 1st time CC'ing.  I dont know about anyone else, but the 1st few times I CC'd, I felt like I was doing something wrong.  Now, dont leave home without it.

They are still in NO rush to process renewals.
