Interestingly enough my cousin turned in all his paperwork yesterday and they told him 2 months!  I told him expect 6 hope fore 2.  It would be great if the time was coming down.

well I hope your cousin gets it in two months but after seeing the large stacks off apps that were on her desk I would lean towards the 6 month wait. She had three stacks that were at least 12 inches tall.

on another note I called crossbreed about my holster and they said another 2-3 weeks before I will see it.. I guess I should have ordered it when I filed..LOL

wow is right. I asked for my money back but they said they already started making it so they couldnt refund the money.. So  I was like if you already started why would it take 2-3 more weeks... what ever.


Have you called to check on your renewal? I have been dealing with a women by the name of Dale Broome. She is very nice and maybe if you aske her kindly she will move your app along faster.

I spoke to her Wednesday. She says they are still working on this year's renewals, and they are mindful of the approaching expiration date.
She was very nice and helpful. She also said that there are more applications this year than ever before, and that there is now only one person in the Prothonotary's office working on the permits.

The impression I got was that they DO care, and that they are working on it.
When I say "they," I mean the investigators and the Prothonotary. The lady I spoke to explained that each renewal gets another background check before it is approved, and that she is sending the permits out as fast as she is getting the approvals.

That's what I have the problem with.  I dont care if they are getting another background check, that's fine.
The few times I called, I got the feeling from the conversation "it doesnt expire until end of May, what's the rush".
We'll process the new ones while yours is still good.
